Maryland BioDetection is not a remediation contracting firm. Because of this, we are positioned to provide a non-partial assessment of the indoor air quality or environmental quality concern of private homes, commercial buildings and institutional complexes. After a review of laboratory results from samples taken while onsite, without bias, Maryland BioDetection will recommend the proper remediation methods to correct the issue if deemed necessary.

Maryland BioDetection: Five stars are because the microbiologist was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the approach and limitations before testing, during testing and inspection, and after I received the report. I have toxicology training and was reassured by his approach and knowledge. He was also flexible and prompt in making the appointment and timeliness in work and report. The written reports by MDBD were thorough as was the independent Microbial service which analyzed the samples. I like the independent approach, the fact that MDBD was not selling remediation services and did not suggest testing more rooms than was necessary to assess the entire house. His walk-through inspection approach with room lights on and off and a powerful flashlight beam was also revealing.

Keith was recommended to us so we had him come out to do a Mold inspection and Indoor Spore Trap test. He was very knowledgeable, recommended products to clean/sanitize the area, explained the testing process and answered any questions I had. He tested on a Friday and we had our results by Monday & he sent us a detailed report. The results put our mind at ease so we can move forward with closing things up under our cabinets. I highly recommend his services and would use him in the future if needed.
