We are certified technicians who are trained and insured to perform investigations and testing, to provide our clients with thorough inspections and reporting necessary to meet the criteria for a safe indoor environment. Our certified technicians performs each inspection personally and will provide accurate, easy to understand reports in a timely fashion.

We will supply the answers needed to solve and Indoor Air Quality issue and provide recommendations for treatment and/or remediation.

Our sampling protocols use high quality air sampling devices and various sampling media while on site to capture any possible bacterial and fungal growth present, combined with proper sampling techniques and handling to limit the potential of possible corruption of the sample integrity.  We work with independent laboratories for analysis of samples taken while on site at during an investigation.

Maryland BioDetection: Five stars are because the microbiologist was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the approach and limitations before testing, during testing and inspection, and after I received the report. I have toxicology training and was reassured by his approach and knowledge. He was also flexible and prompt in making the appointment and timeliness in work and report. The written reports by MDBD were thorough as was the independent Microbial service which analyzed the samples. I like the independent approach, the fact that MDBD was not selling remediation services and did not suggest testing more rooms than was necessary to assess the entire house. His walk-through inspection approach with room lights on and off and a powerful flashlight beam was also revealing.

We had a water leak in our kitchen and were worried about mold. Keith was recommended to us so we had him come out to do a Mold inspection and Indoor Spore Trap test. He was very knowledgeable, recommended products to clean/sanitize the area, explained the testing process and answered any questions I had. He tested on a Friday and we had our results by Monday & he sent us a detailed report. The results put our mind at ease so we can move forward with closing things up under our cabinets. Keith was very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection of my rooms to determine accurate mold spore counts.
